Temperature Tipping Points

The ambient temperature must be at least 40 F and rising for 48 consecutive hours at the time of installation.

Membranes must be between 60 F and 80 F during installation.

Primers, adhesives and sealants must be between 60 F and 80 F prior to use.

Guidelines and Best Practices

Store rolls on end in a warm environment until just prior to use, keeping them at room temperature (between 60 F and 80 F).

Materials not at room temperature, or not used within 4 hours after removal from warm storage, must be restored to room temperature (between 60 F and 80 F) prior to use.

During installation, roll the membrane promptly with a minimum 75-pound roller. Failure to do so may result in poor adhesion or cracking.

Note: The above are general guidelines. Please consult the relevant Product Data Sheet (PDS) for more information about the specific product being used.
