Mule-Hide #406 Standard Fibrated Aluminum Roof Coating provides high-performance protection for asphalt-based roofing systems, extending their service lives by shielding them from damaging heat, ultraviolet light, mold, fungus and rust. The heavy-bodied coating delivers excellent reflectivity.

  • Designed for application to new or existing APP or SBS modified bitumen cap sheets (smooth and granulated), asphalt built-up roofs, and flashings.
  • Can be used to coat a variety of other substrates, including masonry surfaces, and structural steel.
  • Should only be applied to areas with positive drainage.
  • Product must be mixed very well with a power drill until coating appears silver. Hand mixing is not satisfactory. Average mix time per bucket should be approximately 2 minutes.
