301 Fibrated Emulsion Roof Coating

Versatile and exceptionally durable, Mule-Hide #301 Fibrated Emulsion Roof Coating is specially formulated to provide superior resistance to water and weather. The asphalt-based, clay emulsion roof coating protects asphaltic roofs, metal, and masonry. It does not flow when applied in thick coats. When dry, it stays in place, even when exposed to elevated temperatures.

  • Recommended as a surface coating over smooth-surfaced asphalt built-up roofs and modified bitumen roofing membranes.
  • Can be used as the final coat in cold process built-up roofing systems, particularly on low-slope roofs.
  • Effective as a base coat for reflective roof coatings.
  • Effective in damp-proofing below-grade exterior applications.
