Mule-Hide Products Co., Inc, Beloit, Wisconsin introduces two new blended colors to their line of Self-Adhering Mod Bit. The new blended colors are chestnut and grey slate and match popular shingle colors. The new color blends have been well received by contractors with residential installations that feature a steep-slope shingled roof next to a low-slope roof area such as a porch or attached garage. Mule-Hide SA-SBS Cap Sheets are now available in 7 standard colors: white, buff, oak, weatherwood, black, and the new chestnut and grey slate blends. Also available in 4 special order colors: green, grey, brown, and red. Mule-Hide SA-APP Cap Sheets are available in 2 standard colors: white and buff. Also available in 9 special order colors: the new color blends chestnut and grey slate as well as oak, weatherwood, black, green, grey, brown, and red. Mule-Hide Self-Adhering membranes are manufactured with Adeso™ self-adhesive technology. A ‘true’ APP or SBS is provided on the top (weathering) surface and a new generation, pressure sensitive adhesive is provided on the bottom of the reinforcement. Adheres to eight different substrates. No hot kettles, no open flames make this system ideal for low-slope or steeper slopes when a fast, clean, safe application is desired. Contractors enjoy instant bonding roll-to-roll and enhanced sealability offered by the SEALLap™selvage treatment. They also benefit from fast end laps and more reliable seams with the granule-free FASTLap® design. Building owners will like the environmentally friendly attributes and such fast installation means minimal disruption to building occupants and operations.
