Mule-Hide Products Co., Inc., Beloit Wisconsin, has released three new tools covering application guidelines for professional applicators of their Self-Adhering Mod Bit, – an application video, an English application guidelines handbook, and a bilingual (English/Spanish) handbook. The patented manufacturing process used to produce these Adeso™ Self-Adhesive Technology membranes is presented in the video, focusing on the properties of a high performance dual compound, commercial grade self-adhering modified versus single compound products.

The video takes the contractor step by step through the flame-free, fume-free application of Mule-Hide Self-Adhering Mod Bit. The nine approved substrates are also reviewed. Both the videos and handbooks cover equipment needed, substrate preparation (new construction or recover), application of base sheets, cap sheets, and flashing details such as pipes, terminations, curbs, and parapet walls.
