15. Adhesives – Types & Uses:

Water Based Adhesive:

  • Water Base Bonding Adhesive (white acrylic) for single-side, wet, horizontal application of EPDM & flashing materials to acceptable high-density wood fiberboard, plywood, Dens-Deck, moisture resistant drywall or an acceptable OSB panel. Also available in 1 gallon pails!

  • Solvent Based Adhesives

  • Bonding Adhesive (yellow) to fully adhere EPDM and flashing materials to acceptable rigid insulation boards, metal, wood, masonry, & other acceptable substrates on both horizontal & vertical surfaces.
  • Single Seal Adhesive (black) is a brush or roller grade contact adhesive used as either a bonding adhesive or a splice adhesive. Used primarily on small projects where UL & FM approvals are not required. Not approved for use when requesting System Warranties.
