PVC, TPO, & Walkable PVC Membrane are the standard membranes. Specialty membranes such as Hypalon are available by special order.

Labor & Material Warranties are offered on Mule-Hide TPO and Mule-Hide PVC; turnaround is usually 2-3 days upon receipt of the final inspection checklist and warranty fee.

Only Premium System Warranties must have material invoices provided.

No, this is not required, but areas of the roof where insulation is wet must be replaced.

7. Do I need walk pads for a large commercial roofing project?

Walk pads are always recommended. ABC Supply can provide walk pads for each Mule-Hide system/membrane type.

8. What if I need to prove Mule-Hide meets the written specification for a 
roofing system spec job?

Your ABC Sales Rep can facilitate by faxing 3 pieces of info to Mule-Hide Technical Service Administrator. Just provide ABC with the following info and a letter will be written & sent:

1. A copy of the specification
2. Name & address to whom the letter should be addressed
3. Your Phone & Fax number

11. Adhesives – Types & Uses:

• PVC Bonding Adhesive (amber) to fully adhere PVC membrane and flashing materials to acceptable insulation boards, metal, wood & other acceptable substrates on both horizontal & vertical surfaces.
• TPO Bonding Adhesive (amber) to fully adhere TPO membrane and flashing materials to acceptable insulation boards, metal, wood & other acceptable substrates on both horizontal & vertical surfaces.
• Latex Adhesive to fully adhere Walkable PVC to new plywood surface only (must be a clean porous surface, not for use in temperatures under 55 degrees F). Single-side application by trowel on the plywood substrate only. Requires 4 to 6 hours to set. Not for use on vertical surfaces.
• Contact Adhesive to adhere Walkable PVC to new plywood on horizontal and vertical surfaces (not for use in temperatures lower than 35 degrees F). 2-sided application with a mat roller to both surfaces – back of membrane sheet & substrate.
